Aftonbladet is a Swedish daily evening newspaper, founded in 1830, and it is the largest
daily newspaper in the Nordic countries. It is a part of the Schibsted
concern which is one of the biggest media-groups in the Scandinavian countries,
with ambitions to take a leading position in Europe.
My role as a project manager within Aftonbladet involved leading the App-development
team, providing mobile- and touch-device based applications for a variety
of products supplied by Aftonbladet and the different sub-periodicals that
are released under the brand.
Tv.nu is Swedens leading EPG-provider, and the products is available via
both a web based- aswell as several mobile application-based interfaces.
My role within Tv.nu ranged from leading the software development team,
organising the process (we employ Kanban and other agile principles, such
as TDD). I also have an overall responsibility over the technical platform
to ensure stability in the product and managing the out-sourced hosting-team.
My role in this company is product manager of the companies social photo-sharing
site www.bums.se. My responsibilities varies from ensuring quality in usability
to developing marketing strategies and managing projects, both in the development
of projects directly in the development of www.bums.se, but also projects
involving integration with other technical and editorial platforms in concern.
This experience has given me great insights in how to identify and develop
network-effects in social media, how to develop different strategies to
capitalize from traffic-inventory, not only using advertisement, but different
synergies within the concern, and finally, how to build a product that
puts a very big focus on usability that communicates the goals to the customer
for optimized conversion-rates.

Lunarworks Holding AB
2006-04-11 to 2007-10-01
Lunarstorm was one of the true pioneers in social media in Sweden, and
even in the world! The original version, known as Stajl Plejs, was founded
in 1996, and in the year 2000, the founder started the company Lunarworks
to manage the site, that was renamed to LunarStorm. In the year 2006, the
site had reached 1,2 million Swedish members, and had reached a dominant
market position in the target age-segment of young Swedish people. Lunarstorm
was one of the first sites that successfully managed to find a B2C-business-model,
using premium services, and it was also a pioneering site in the mobile
industry, when it launched the mobile version in 2002. My role as a developer
involved mainly development of backend services and supportsystems, with
focus on very high performance. I was involved in many architectural roadmap
investigations, and we worked in development-teams with an agile project
model, using test-driven and iterative development.
An example of the kind of projects I was involved in was the ”media platform”,
which can be described as a ”flickr/youtube” solution. In this project,
me and a colleague wrote the media conversion-software, that converted
different uploaded media-files to the desired file formats. suitable for
